UK - Octopus invests £2m into e-Therapeutics

e-Therapeutics, which was listed on AIM in Nvovember 2007, is a systems biology drug discovery company that uses computer modelling methods to predict how medicines interact with cells in the body.

Octopus' investment consists of a subscription to a private placing of 3,3169,189 shares priced at 30 pence per ordinary share, as well as the issue of £1,049,233 of loan notes. Octopus invested through its Titan VCTs, Eureka and its private investor group.

The investor first backed the business in 2007.
