GERMANY - Earlybird and Target Partners invest EUR 2m into Scoreloop

Munich based Scoreloop provides infrastructure for mobile social gaming, partnering with game developers and publishers to develop technologies that build online communities and drive game discovery. The company currently supports games on the iPhone platform. Since its launch in May 2009 over 500 registered game developers have published more than 40 Scoreloop-enabled games.

Scoreloop was founded in 2008 and has offices in the US and Asia. The new capital will be used to further develop the company's technology and take it cross-platform, while also fuelling a continuing focus on international business development with larger publishers and portals.
