BoA staff to launch private equity firm
Several Bank of America (BoA) staff are leaving the group to form a private equity firm.
Travis Hain, from BAML Capital Partners, will lead the new company, along with former BoA and Merrill Lynch staff.
The firm will manage around $1.4bn of BoA's private equity portfolio, and will raise additional money from outside investors.
