SPAIN - Highgrowth forms partnership with French ICSO

Highgrowth, the management company of the private equity fund Fonsinnocat, has signed an agreement with the French fund ICSO Gestion to invest in small-to-medium sized companies in Catalonia and the south-east of France. ICSO Gestion, based in Toulouse and Burdeos, manages three private equity funds: Icso1, FIP Aquitania Pyrénées Languedoc Capital PME 2004 and Aquitania Pyrénées Languedoc FIP 2005. Later this year ICSO plans to launch SOCRI2, which will invest in technology companies.

Given the obvious synergies between Fonsinnocat and SOCRI2, in terms of objectives and investment strategy, the two groups have decided to work together in targeting small, innovative technology-based companies in this specific geographical region. Collaboration will involve co-investment of up to 15% of the respective funds and mutual support in the process of fundraising. Highgrowth and ICSO will form a joint committee which will meet regularly in France and Catalonia to exchange information and ideas.
