SPAIN - Doughty Hanson drops out of Seur bid
According to reports, Doughty Hanson has withdrawn the preliminary offer it presented last summer for for courier Seur.
In July last year, Doughty presented a non-binding offer for the business that would have seen the investor acquire a 52% stake in the company in a deal valuing it at EUR 1bn. The offer was deemed extremely high given market conditions and put a strain on incumbent backer Geopost, part of France's La Post group, which owns 16% stake in Seur.
