NETHERLANDS - Crédit Agricole PE invests EUR 1.7m in arGEN-X

The round was led by Forbion and Life Science Partners (LSP), who invested EUR 9.5m back in early September alongside existing investors KBC Private Equity, BioGeneration Ventures, Erasmus MC Biomedical Fund and Thuja Capital Healthcare Funds. This was followed in early November by a EUR 1.3m grant from the Institute for the Promotion of Innovation by Science and Technology in Flanders (VIB).

Headquartered in Rotterdam, arGEN-X BV, is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of human antibodies using its proprietary SIMPLE Antibody platform. The company will use the funds to further develop the platform and continue to build a proprietary pre-clinical antibody portfolio.
