SPAIN - TPI Yellow Pages up for grabs
Spanish telecoms giant Telefonica has announced plans to sell off its 60% stake in its TPI Yellow Pages subsidiary. BNP Paribas has been selected to manage the sale process.
According to reports in the Spanish press, Apax Partners has made an offer of around EUR 2.2bn for Telefonica’s shareholding and a number of other private equity groups have also shown interest. In 2005, TPI reported turnover of EUR 654m with EBITDA of EUR 190m.
