SPAIN - Clave Mayor invests in renewable energy player

DC Wafers was established in 2005 by César Pallarés, Ismael Guerrero and Juan Creus, and has been backed by Inova Capital since 2006. It specialises in the manufacture of policrystaline silicon wafers used in photovotaic cells. The company will commence production and commercialisation by year’s end and has already signed contracts with clients and suppliers of raw materials.

This is the first investment from Clave Mayor's fund, which was raised in 2008 to finance projects in Castilla y León.
