
UK - 3i and Doughty Hanson back former Egg executives in new startup
Founding CEO of Egg plc and First Direct, Mike Harris, and former Egg CIO Tom Ilube, have announced the creation of a new consumer company pioneering a range of services to help give people real power over their personal information in the digital world. Backed by an investment from 3i and Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures, the new company, garlik, will champion consumers’ right to control their personal data and enable them to find, manage, correct, remove or even promote details about themselves online.
