
UK - Mercia Fund leads investment into Warrick Effect Polymers
The Mercia Technology Seed Fund has led an investment in biopolymer company Warrick Effect Polymers (WEP).
The deal also included contributions from WEP's existing investors. The company, based at the Warwick University Science Park, is a specialist producer of polymers for a wide range of industrial applications. WEP has an innovative approach to the development of second generation pegylation technologies which have the potential to increase the activity and improve the safety of medical therapeutics.
