DENMARK - KKR et al. backed-TDC enters strategic partnership with Ericsson
Danish telecommunications business TDC, jointly owned by Apax Partners, The Blackstone Group, KKR, Permira Advisors and Providence Equity Partners, has entered a strategic partnership with Ericsson.
Approximately 220 TDC employees will be affected by the agreement and will be transferred to Ericsson.
Apax, Blackstone, KKR, Permira and Providence, through Nordic Telephone Company ApS (NTC), made a cash-offer of DKK 382 per share to de-list TDC from Copenhagen Stock Exchange and NYSE for a total value of DKK 76bn (EUR 10.1bn) in January 2006
