GERMANY - Montagu to sell BSN Medical

A range of private equity groups are said to be interested in the auction, including Cinven, Advent International, Warburg Oincus, Blackstone, KKR, CVC and EQT. Montagu anticipates that the sale will provide the biggest return to investors in its history.

Hamburg-based BSN was founded in 2001 and generates turnover of EUR 560m. Montagu acquired the company in 2005 in a EUR 1.3bn deal.
