GERMANY – Burda invests $500,000 in TeamPages
Burda Digital Ventures has led a series-A funding round for TeamPages, investing $500,000 in the social network site for amateur sports based in Vancouver. Several local angel investors were also involved. TeamPages was founded in 2006 and allows teams and players to create their own profiles, post schedules, statistics, photos, videos, news, and contact information, and communicate with one another through team message boards, email reminders, and notes.
