
GERMANY - L-EA and SEED fund Trivid with EUR 2-5m
L-EigenkapitalAgentur and SEED have invested a total of EUR 2-5m in Trivid GmbH, a provider of online video and content solutions in a Series A round. L-EigenkapitalAgentur has acquired the bigger stake in the company, with the total of equity held by investors said to be around 50%. About EUR 1m of capital was raised in seed financing by the founder. Trivid GmbH provides B2B solutions to portals and online communities that allow the combination of user generated content and advertising, enabling the owners of copyrights to capitalise on booming internet trends. Previously, the company has cooperated with partners such as ProSiebenSat.1 and L’Oréal for promotions. The company’s trademarked Clipgenerator product enables users to easily and flexibly generate music clips from photos or videos in professional quality without having to install software and without breaching copyright laws. The company is located in Tübingen, employs a staff of 25, and is generating profits.
