ITALY /UK- Electra changes name and opens Milan office
The buyout firm Electra is set to open a new office in Italy and change its name to Cognetas.
The new office of Cognetas – the name adopted by the firm to emphasise its independence from the number of other groups sharing the Electra name – will be in Milan and will be headed by Maurizio Bianco. Bianco has over 10 years experience in the private equity world. He joins Cognetas from Euromobiliare Private Equity and will be joined by two other professionals to form the local team in Milan.
