UK - Imperial Innovations Group invests in Molecular Vision
Imperial Innovations Group has invested EUR 500,000 in handheld diagnostics device developer Molecular Vision.
The company has developed a platform, which combines microfluidics and organic semiconductor assay readers within single disposable devices. Microfluidic chemistry systems are typically fast and accurate, while organic photodetectors provide accuracy at low cost. These characteristics allow MVL devices to provide laboratory-quality information wherever and whenever required, whether at the patient's bedside, in the doctor's surgery, in the ambulance or in the home.
