
UK - Close Ventures invests £1.35m in Vibrant Energy
Close Ventures has injected £1.35m into energy services company Vibrant Energy Surveys Ltd as part of a £1.5m funding round.
Vibrant Energy, which was established in 2007, provides Energy Performance Certificates for buildings. The company was formed as a response to the UK's implementation of the European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), which was created to reduce the energy consumption of both newly built and existing buildings in Europe.
