SWEDEN - Linkmed and Koncentra invest SEK 20m into AnaMar
Linkmed and Koncentra Holding have injected a further SEK 10m each into Swedish biotech company AnaMar Medical. LinkMed will retain a 24.9% stake in the company following the transaction.
Founded in 1998, AnaMar aims to commercialize its knowledge platform in the field of cartilage biology and associated joint diseases. The company has launched biomarker assays for measurement of Cartilage Oligomeric Matrix Protein (COMP) in serum. The new capital will be used to fund further research. The company is headquartered in Gothenburg, with R&D facilities at IDEON Science Park in Lund, and employs 10 people.
