SWEDEN - STING Capital backs Cortus with SEK 2m

Cortus has developed a gasification system called the WoodRoll process, which produces clean synthesis gas that can be used in energy intensive industries such as steel, glass, pulp and paper, cement, minerals and lime productions.

Stockholm-based Cortus has received support from STING's incubator programme since its inception in 2006. The business is aiming for market launch in 2010, and is currently preparing to launch a pilot plant.
