SWEDEN - STING invests SEK 2m in Solarus
STING Capital has invested SEK 2m into solar energy technology company Solarus.
Solarus has developed a hybrid solar cell panel, which can generate both heat and electricity. The panels can produce up to 600 watt per m2 of heat and electrcity with a cost reduction of 30% compared to conventional systems. The Norrtäljie-based company was founded in 2006 and its technology is based on 15 years of research.
The recent capital injection will fund market commercialisation and increase production capacity.
