UK - YFM and NESTA support ProVision with £750,000
The YFM Group-managed South West Venture Fund and Finance South West Growth Fund, along with NESTA investments, have invested ТЃ750,000 into digital wireless video technology company ProVision Communications.
ProVision is a spinout from the University of Bristol that develops wireless video solutions, such as in-home gateways and video systems for sports and other spectator events, covering most wireless standards, including wifi, WiMAX and DVB-T. Following a successful demonstration of the technology, in which the company streamed over wifi the Welsh leg of the World Ralley Championship 2007, ProVision has been invited by the Government's UK Trade and Investment export support body to present the products at the GSMA World Congress 2008 in Barcelona in February.
This latest financing will be used to continue the organic growth of the business.
