ITALY – MPS backs EUR 6m PharmEste funding
MPS Venture and Mitsubichi Tanabe Group, via its MPH Healthcare fund, have subscribed to a EUR 6m financing round for biotechnology firm PharmaEste, alongside existing investors Z-Cube and Quantica.
The company closed a EUR 3.2m series-A financing round in January 2007, which included contributions from Z-Cube, Quantica, Zernike Meta Venture and State Street Global Investments (now known as Fondamenta).
