UK - Imperial Innovations takes 38% stake in EVO Electric
Imperial Innovations has invested ТЃ375,000 as part of a ТЃ1.5m round of funding in EVO Electric Ltd, a developer of electrical motors and generators, and increased their stake in the company to 38%.
Evo is developing electrical motors and generators using axial flux technology, based on the work of Dr. Michael Lamperth at Imperial College, which have a high power density and flat design. This enables vehicles to use lighter, smaller and higher power components which exhibt higher fuel efficiency and create lower emissions.
