AUSTRIA – MP Healthcare and Merck Serono lead EUR 8m round for f-star

Existing investors comprising Atlas Venture, Aescap Venture, Novo Ventures and TVM Capital also participated in this round. Since its inception in 2006, the company has raised a total of EUR 19m.

f-star is an antibody engineering company headquartered in Vienna, with an additional site in Cambridge, UK. It employs 20 people.

The new financing will support drug discovery and development efforts using f-star's proprietary Modular Antibody Technology, which allows the engineering of antigen binding sites into constant and variable domains of antibodies.
