SWEDEN – EQT alone in the fight for Securitas Direct
Melker Schörling AB (MSAB), Investment Latour and SäkI AB have left the EMSL Interessenter consortium led by EQT, and announced that they will no longer be part of the SEK 10.1bn offer for Securitas Direct. In a letter to the Independent Committee, MSAB, Latour and Säkl states that they"will not support a change of the capital structure of Securitas Direct in case the offer from ESML Intressenter should be withdrawn and Securitas Direct continues as a publicly listed company". The committee is currently searching for other potential buyers for Securitas Direct, but so far has not been approached by a competing offer to the one submitted by EQT.
