PanOpSys, a medical diagnostics company focusing on rapid quantitative detection of disease markers, has announced that it has raised $5.25m in a Series A round of funding from Quester.
The core technology is readily applicable to a wide variety of tests and the scope for new products is significant. At this stage the company remains focused on the commercial development of its in-house tests, but is also in discussion with various diagnostic companies about other development, manufacturing and marketing opportunities.
The company recently relocated to a new purpose designed facility at the Kent Science Park.
