UK - GfK and Apax pull out of TNS bid
Reports suggest that talks between German market research group GfK and Apax Partners regarding a potential bid for UK-based market research business TNS fell apart last night over price.
GfK is now expected to announce its withdrawal from the proposal leaving Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) having to reconsider the hostile bid made by WPP, which it rejected in July as undervaluing the company.
