SWEDEN - Industrifonden and Broken Arrow back Conveneer with SEK 36m
Swedish government-backed venture fund Industrifonden and a group of American investors operating under the name Broken Arrow have invested SEK 18m each into mobile technology company Conveneer.
Founded in 2006, Conveneer sprung out of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Lund (Lunds Tekniska Högskola, LTH). The business currently employs 15 people in its offices in Lund and Palo Alto in the US, and also has representatives in South Korea and Japan.
The capital increase will primarily fund these final stages of product development, as well as the market launch of the main product Mikz.
Previously, the company has received funding from Teknoseed and business angels.
