UK - 3i and Terra Firma walk away from Novera
3i and Terra Firma, who had been considering making a bid for Novera Energy, the landfill gas and wind farm company, have withdrawn their interest in a possible takeover.
The withdrawal of the private equity houses, who hold a 10% and 28% stake respectively in the business, is subject to conditions that give the firms the right to come back if circumstances change significantly.
