GERMANY - PEPPERMINT leads EUR 3.9m JADO funding

Dresden-based JADO is active in the emerging field of RAFT intervention therapeutics, which target the 3-dimensional RAFT domain surrounding a specific protein rather than the protein itself. The specific drug treatments that can subsequently be developed have the potential to address multiple unmet needs, particularly in allergy, infectious diseases, Alzheimer's disease and cancer.

New investor NRW.BANK and existing investors Dresden Fonds GmbH, EMBL Ventures, KfW (via ERP-Startfonds), Max Planck Society and MASA Life Science Ventures also participated in the financing.
