NETHERLANDS – Gimv et al in EUR 13m round for GreenPeak

Headquartered in Utrecht, fabless semiconductor firm GreenPeak has offices in Belgium, Japan and Korea. The company offers innovative ultra low power wireless and battery-free data communication technologies for consumer electronics and sense and control applications. Its technology utilises energy harvesting to facilitate battery-free operation in a totally wireless environment, without the need for either communications or power connectivity.

The funding will provide the company with the necessary funds to finance its growth in the coming years.
