UK - Eden supports Huddle with $4m investment
Eden Ventures has led a series-A $4m funding round for Huddle.net, a provider of social business networks.
Huddle combines social networking platforms with open office tools to enable users to work in teams at home or in the office. Launched just six months ago, it has averaged a 25% increase in users per month and has a client base that includes Edelman, John Lewis, Reuters and UNICEF. In August, the company joined the OpenSAM consortium, integrating a range of applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint online documents into the Huddle platform.
