SPAIN - Regional player Prince Capital Partners launches
Prince Capital Partners is set to launch as the first private financial institution investing in companies in the Asturian region, North West Spain.
Prince Capital is funded with regional capital and will be fully dedicated to private equity. It will focus on companies that have already consolidated their business projects and require a capital injection to expand their operations. This differs from the three existing venture capital firms already working in the region (SRP, Sodeco and Sadim), which tend to support the early-stage development of local businesses through temporary minority stakes.
