
SPAIN - Santander, RBS and DIF Renewable Energy form joint venture
Santander, RBS and Dutch infrastructure fund DIF Renewable Energy have formed SolarCap Partners, a new joint venture aimed at establishing new solar energy projects in Greece, Italy and Spain.
With a first launch in Andulasia and with 2MW already installed, the joint venture has signed agreements for future projects with a 15MW capacity. The partners plan to acquire a portfolio of photovoltaic projects valued at EUR 500m.
