UK - 3i to return to FTSE 100
3i is set to return to the FTSE 100 index, as its share price has more than doubled in the past three months after having fallen 45% in the previous quarter.
The review of the company was based on the closing share price on 9 June, with the changes set to be implemented on Monday 22 June.
With 3i's £732 rights issue out of the way, investors' worries have calmed, as they are now increasingly focusing on the companies they can aquire at a substantial discount because of the credit crisis.
