UK - CDC commits USD 40m to Asian SMEs
CDC Group Plc will make new commitments of USD 40m in total to two private equity funds which focus on investments in SMEs in south-east and central Asia.
The commitments comprised USD 30m to Kendall Court Mezzanine (Asia) Bristol Fund and USD 10m to Centras Private Equity Fund. The Kendall fund aims to raise USD 150m for investments in south-east Asia and will focus on mezzanine expansion capital and buyout capital. The Centras fund plans to raise USD 75m for investments in central Asia, focusing on the Republic of Kazakhstan.
