GERMANY - 3i sponsors Frankfurt professorship for private equity

3i has agreed to sponsor a professorship at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, to further research and education in the field of private equity. 3i will fund the chair with EUR 200,000 per annum for a period of six years, with a review after the third year.

With the agreement between the university and 3i now in place, the next step is to identify an individual who brings excellent research and teaching experience in the area of private equity in a domestic and international context.
