
UK - Esprit joins forces with global venture firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson
Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ), the Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm responsible for backing Hotmail and Skype in the past, has acquired a strategic stake in Esprit Capital Partners. Esprit will rebrand as ‘DFJ Esprit’ and members of DFJ’s Silicon Valley-based team will join Esprit’s investment committee. Esprit will become the newest addition to the DFJ Network of venture partnerships which includes offices in more than 30 cities around the world with $5bn in capital commitments.
