UK - Esprit joins forces with global venture firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson

Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ), the Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm responsible for backing Hotmail and Skype in the past, has acquired a strategic stake in Esprit Capital Partners. Esprit will rebrand as т€˜DFJ Espritт€™ and members of DFJт€™s Silicon Valley-based team will join Espritт€™s investment committee. Esprit will become the newest addition to the DFJ Network of venture partnerships which includes offices in more than 30 cities around the world with $5bn in capital commitments.
