UK - Platina refinances wind farm portfolio

Northamptonshire-located Burton Wold is a 20 megawatt, ten turbine wind farm built in 2006 and was originally financed by HBOS in 2005 with €19.8m. Nord/LB intends to approach a limited number of banks for an open portfolio financing. Winscales Moor is a 6 megawatt, seven turbine wind farm under construction in Cumbria. A third wind farm project, Garves in Northern Ireland, was also financed with €28.6m of senior debt from Nord/LB.
