SWITZERLAND – Vinci Capital invests CHF 6m into Omnisens
Vinci Capital has invested CHF 6m into Omnisens SA, a developer of long-distance distributed fiber-optic sensing.
Founded in 2000 in Lausanne as a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Omnisens develops and commercializes fiber optic-based monitoring solutions. Its DITEST product line provides real-time continuous temperature and strain measurements along a fiber optic cable with meter resolution over extended distances, making it well suited to applications such as the monitoring of oil and gas pipelines, power cables, umbilicals and offshore flowlines.
