UK - MTI makes two investments in two days
MTI Partners has recently completed two transactions from its UMIP Premier Fund, the University of Manchester's technology transfer company, comprising a ТЃ1m co-investment in optical technology specialist Lein Applied Diagnostics and a ТЃ500,000 investment in cabling system specialist CableSense.
On Friday, the UMIP Premier Fund invested £500,000 in cabling system specialist CableSense, based in Lancaster. The business attracted £100,000 earlier this year from UMIP's incubator as a proof-of-principle investment.
