
SPAIN – 3i to acquire 16% in radio group
3i has reportedly committed EUR 225m to acquire a 16.2% stake in radio network Union Radio.
The company is owned by Grupo Prisa and Grupo Godó which retain an 80% and 20% stake respectively. The investment will see 3i acquire stakes from both of the current backers and successive capital expansion waves. The deal is expected to complete in the first four months of 2008.
