
Hiro Capital invests $15m in three gaming studios
Esports-focused venture capital firm Hiro Capital has invested €15m in video game studios Snowprint, Double Loop Games and Happy Volcano, based in Stockholm, San Fransisco and Leuven, Belgium, respectively.
The funding will help the studios expand their development pipelines and accelerate global growth.
London-based Hiro Capital invests in companies across gaming, technology, esports and digital fitness. It typically invests at series-A and -B stages and has so far backed 11 startups.

Founded in 2015 in Stockholm, Snowprint Studios is a video game studio and the creator of mobile game Legend of Solgard. It is also working on three new mobile titles, and has an additional studio in Berlin.
Based in Leuven, Happy Volcano is a new studio and creator of a narrative exploration game called The Almost Gone. It is currently working on a cross-platform game called You Suck at Parking.
Double Loop Games is a San Francisco-based studio working on its debut title.
