
Partners Group closes Global Value 2011 on €680m
Partners Group has held a final close for Global Value 2011, the third fund in the series, on €680m.
Partners Group's first two Global Value funds closed in 2006 and 2008, on €400m and €530m respectively.
Investors
The fund's investor base is composed of global corporate and public pension plans, insurers and financial institutions.
Investments
The fund will invest in a range of private equity opportunities, including direct, primary, secondary and mezzanine investments across different sectors.
More than half of the fund is already committed. In May 2012, Partners Group and Silver Lake Partners acquired global travel payment services company Global Blue for €1bn from Equistone, a deal financed through Global Value 2011.
