
Seedcamp holds first close for third fund
Start-up accelerator Seedcamp has held a first close for its third fund on $28m, with European Investment Fund among its LP base.
The fund, Seedcamp 2.0, has a target of $30m.
Investors
The European Investment Fund is understood to have cornerstoned the fund, which also counts angel investors and corporates among its LP base. Fidelity Growth Partners Europe has also made a commitment.
Investors in the fund are based in China, Russia, Europe and Silicon Valley.
Investments
The vehicle will back 100 European early-stage start-ups across a four-year investment period.
Current Seedcamp investments include Traity and Transferwise.
