
TDR-backed Algeco acquires Buko businesses
TDR Capital portfolio company Algeco has acquired modular construction businesses Buko Huisvesting and Buko Bouw & Winkels.
The vendor of the acquired businesses is Scheybeeck Group. The managing directors of the companies will stay on in their positions following the transactions.
TDR acquired Algeco in 2004 and has since bolted on a number of companies, and listed two of its North American businesses. The company is a TDR Capital II portfolio company and it generated €55m EBITDA from €226m in revenue in the year ending on 30 June 2019.

The businesses are providers of temporary and semi-permanent buildings and related services for the education, healthcare, construction, retail and public sectors. The businesses operate five locations in the Netherlands, with their headquarters in Beverwijk and Zaltbommel. Founded in 1962, the Buko businesses employ 195 staff and generate revenues of €60m.
