
Enterprise Investors exits Elemental Holding
CEE-focused private equity firm Enterprise Investors has exited Elemental Holding, an electrical waste and recycling business.
Enterprise Investors sold its entire 9.22% stake through a secondary transaction on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE). With the exit, the company moved its listing to the regulated WSE market.
Enterprise Investors acquired Elemental in 2013 from its first venture fund, injecting €7.9m.
Company
Elemental is a specialist recycling company focusing on reusable raw materials from electronic devices, electronic waste and scrap metal recycling. The company operates recycling facilities in Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Turkey and Middle Eastern countries as well as a network of scrap purchasers across Poland.
In 2016, Elemental generated €12m in net profit from revenues of €240m. The company was founded in Grodzisk Mazowiecki in 2009.
