
Pera Capital acquires stake in Bimser
Turkish private equity house Pera Capital Partners has acquired a minority stake in Istanbul-based IT company Bimser.
With the new capital, Bimser plans on boosting its domestic and international growth targets.
The Turkey-focused investor held a first close for its Pera Capital Partners Fund I on €45m in June 2011, with a final close reported in May 2012. The country-focused fund, which targets growth capital and buyout investments, had a fundraising target of €120m.
The fund focuses on mid-market growth capital investments and targets transactions that range between €5-15m in companies with annual sales of €10-70m.

Established in 1998 and headquartered in Istanbul, Bimser develops process software for businesses. Its products are used by 1,300 companies in Turkey, and the group exports to 20 countries. Bimser additionally operates offices in New York and The Hague.
