Tera Ventures et al. in $1.4m seed round for Snackable
Estonian venture capital investor Tera Ventures has led a consortium of investors to provide Estonian-American company Snackable, an AI-driven search engine startup, with a $1.4m seed round of funding.
It is the second investment round for Snackable. The round was joined by existing investor Superangel and one of the founders of Skype, Jaan Tallinn, who has previously invested in artificial intelligence companies.
The capital raised in this investment round will be used for market entry and to expand the team, both in New York at Snackable's headquarters as well as in Tallinn, where the development office is located. Snackable's technology platform is still at the development stage.
Previous funding
Since inception in 2018, media veteran Richard Sarnoff and other US business angels have invested a total of $2.3m into Snackable.

Established in 2018 and headquartered in New York, Snackable AI is developing an AI-based search engine that allows users to find relevant audio content in podcasts, audio books, videos and other media that contains audio. Snackable employs around 10 people, according to LinkedIn.
