Hogan Lovells bolsters Frankfurt team with three hires
Legal advisory firm Hogan Lovells has recruited Skadden’s Matthias Jaletzke, Hanns Joerg Herwig and Joerg Neubauer to roles in its Frankfurt office.
Hogan Lovells' newest corporate partner, Jaletzke will join Hogan Lovells from legal consultancy firm Skadden, where he advised German and international private equity and corporate clients on acquisitions, divestments, takeovers and restructurings.
Jaletzke's client portfolio includes Quadriga Capital, Bregal Capital and Apax Partners – the latter of which he advised on the €920m sale of logistics service provider IFCO Systems in November 2010 and the $420m exit of German telecommunications service Versatel Group to KKR in May 2011.
He was also involved in several transactions made by Doughty Hanson, including the €1.1bn purchase of German electrical components producer Moelle Group and the bolt-on of movie theatre chain CinemaxX by portfolio company Vue Entertainment.
Joerg Neubauer and Hanns Joerg Herwig were also hitherto employed by Skadden, where they provided legal advice to clients including Quadriga, Bregal, Equistone Partners and Apax.
The new hires join three months after Hogan Lovells provided legal advice for the MCI Management-led €42m series-C funding round for Berlin-headquartered online auction house Auctionata.
